The McColley's Finale Philodendron is a vibrant hybrid cultivar that features long, oval-shaped leaves that morph from bright red to green. Fun fact: it grows from its center unlike other Philodendron vines - perfect for all of you unique houseplant collectors!

In the 1960's, a Florida man named Robert H. McColley worked on a hybridization program for philodendrons. After Robert's passing, his loving wife, Cora, found a particular variety that was self-heading and produced a beautiful burgundy red color when immature. She then filed a patent for the special colored philodendron after she was able to reproduce it consistently and named the cultivar after her late husband, "McColley's Finale", to honor his memory.... we're not crying, you're crying.
Care Information
- For optimal performance, keep at 60-85°F (15-29°C).
- Simply place anywhere in a room with a window and replace the 3/4" of water (if needed) every 1-2 months
